Every resource in Orbis has a home — a specific zone, cave type, or depth band where it reliably shows up. This hub collects all resource location guides, backed by data extracted from Hytale’s game asset files.

Each guide uses spawn data extracted from Hytale’s game asset files.

  • Copper — Zone 1 stacks multiple placement signals at Y 60-120; the best early-game ore start
  • Iron — Spans Zones 1-4; biome cave passes at Y 60-120 give clean targeting across all stages
  • Gold — Tight cave band at Y 102-110, plus a Zone 3 Taiga surface pass at Y 170-350
  • Silver — Spawns high at Y 150-255 across all zones; mountain caves, not deep tunnels
  • Thorium — Zone 2 only; desert biome cave pass concentrated at Y 140-200
  • Cobalt — Zone 3 only; Taiga cave biome pass at Y 120-200 plus Tier 2 cave coverage
  • Adamantite — Zone 4 volcanic caves; broad Y 25-160 band rewards route coverage over depth precision
  • Mithril — Not an overworld ore; exclusive to Portal Dungeon instances
